SecureIT Receives Eyvör NCC-IS Grant for Netbrynja: A Cybersecurity Education Platform for Children
SecureIT has been awarded an Eyvör NCC-IS grant for Netbrynja, an interactive digital platform that teaches children about cybersecurity using engaging content and AI guidance.
SecureIT is proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Eyvör NCC-IS Cybersecurity Fund for our latest project, Netbrynja - a new digital platform designed to help children aged 8–15 recognize and avoid cyber threats.
The Eyvör NCC-IS grant, operated by Rannís under the Digital Europe Programme, supports innovative projects that strengthen cybersecurity education and awareness in Iceland. We are honored to be among the recipients in this competitive round of funding, which focuses on advancing digital security, resilience, and education.
Netbrynja is an interactive and intelligent platform that empowers children to learn about cybersecurity through engaging content and conversational AI guidance. The platform is designed for accessibility and ease of use, allowing kids to explore the topic at their own pace on familiar devices. It also supports schools and parents in promoting safe internet practices and improving digital literacy.
At SecureIT, we believe that cybersecurity education must start early - and that it should be approachable, empowering, and even fun. Netbrynja reflects our commitment to innovation in public outreach and digital safety for all.
We are excited to begin work on this important project and look forward to sharing more with you as Netbrynja develops. Our sincere thanks to Eyvör NCC-IS and Rannís for their support and trust in our vision.
Stay tuned for updates - and thank you to our team, partners, and community for continuing to support our mission to build a safer digital future.
